EDIT: I've seen in some places where my picture has been posted that they say that it was taken after a rainy day. Well, I'll clarify it now

It wasn't taken after a rainy day, it was taken while it was raining, actually, it was deluging xD You should have seen me after I took the pic.. I don't like umbrellas very much, so I looked as if I had had a shower, but I needed to take the perfect picture

The moment I came across this picture I knew at once where it was taken. The skyline of Europe's most romantic city, and one of the most photogenic places for tourists everywhere. I have to admit though, I've never seen it quite like this before. It's refreshing not to be staring at a landmark for a change, rather this shot reminds viewers of Paris' other great feature, its symmetry.

As you look out towards the horizon, far as the eye can see, there is a sense of wonder and adventure. What awaits your trip as you explore this undiscovered country, fresh with unforgettable experiences, cherished memories and unique acquaintances?

That old world charm couldn't be more present at this angle, and is supplemented by a superb choice in sepia tones to give that classic feel. This is truly a prime location to take photos, up on high above the city's inhabitants while observing them go about their busy lives, and in many ways this captures Paris at its heart. From the sheer depth of focus to the warm composition, there is plenty to like about this vacation snapshot.
